1.4  Group Career Counseling: A Practical Implementation in Private Practice or Secondary Schools
-Deborah Walsh, M.S., NCC, LPC, Guidance Counselor, Biddeford High School

This program is based on the National Career Development Association book Group Career Counseling: Practices and Principles by K. Richard Pyle, Ph.D., and Ms. Walsh’s experiences in applying its principles. We will explore a Group Career Counseling Model as well as the settings and strategies for using that model. Participants will be prepared to immediately implement a career group program with elementary, middle, secondary or college students or other adults to assist them in gaining greater awareness of their interests, values, and abilities, and the next steps toward goal setting and attainment.
