CAREER CAFE – PURPOSE
MCDA created the Career Cafe to encourage members to network more often throughout the year in a more informal setting than the annual conference and fall workshop and to provide opportunities to share ideas and knowledge.

We have coordinators from various regions in the state and their job is to encourage members to host a Career Cafe, to assist people in marketing, and to seek topics to discuss.

  • A career topic is chosen to discuss.
  • Typically about 1.5 TO 2 hours
  • Time for networking and time for focused discussion on the topic
  • Held most often at a member’s site but can be held anywhere
