WHAT IS APPRECIATIVE INQUIRY? It is a process of asking questions to discover the positive aspects of an organization or individual and using them to create positive potential.

ABOUT THE WORKSHOP: Learn how to combine life-planning concepts with the Appreciative Inquiry process. Using this approach, affirming processes emerge including Discovering, Dreaming, Designing, and Destiny, shifting the focus of the planning process toward a strength-based whole person, a whole life approach. Participants will have the opportunity to experience the appreciative interview process focused on uncovering and building strengths, and learn how it can be practically applied in their daily work with clients and students. This workshop will consist of a mix of interactive activities, train-the-trainer exercises, and lecture focusing on the use of appreciative inquiry during the career development process.
