MCDA Outstanding Career Development Professional Award
Each year, MCDA honors one member whose work embodies our shared vision: helping all people attain fulfilling career and life goals. The Outstanding Career Development Professional Award recognizes significant contributions to the field — through direct service, education and mentoring, innovative programming, community and social justice initiatives, or dedicated service to MCDA itself.
Recipients are nominated by fellow members and selected by the Past-Presidents Committee for their exemplary service, commitment, innovation, and collegiality. The award is presented each spring at our annual conference and includes a plaque, a complimentary year of MCDA membership, a $100 charitable contribution in the recipient's honor, and recognition in our newsletter, website, and social media.
Know someone who deserves recognition? Nominations open October 1 and close February 1 each year.
